Everyone has the right to a home and churches have the power to address the tragedy of homelessness in their community. Hope into Action Suffolk partners with local churches to enable them to house and support people of all faiths and none, all ethnicities and sexualities who have become homeless. We provide supported accommodation for up to 2 years.
365 days a year, 24 hours a day
Our shelter provides individual bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms for guests who would otherwise have to sleep rough. The shelter is warm and safe, offering hot nourishing dinners, the friendly company of volunteers, good breakfasts and support from staff to find longer term accommodation and make other positive changes. All of our guests are referred to us by local services and assessed by our staff before being offered a bed.
Our shelter runs every day from November to March
Free, confidential advice is provided on a wide range of issues including employment, debt, benefits, consumer disputes, family law and housing.
