Burlington Baptist Church are pleased to support the following projects:-
Together For Ipswich is helping coordinate the Ipswich response to the refugee crisis in Ukraine, by joining needs to resources.
With the close support of the Debt Centre Manager and a personal befriender, you will walk a journey out of debt. Three face to face visits will collect vital information, which is sent to CAP Head Office, where qualified Financial Advisors will create a sustainable budget. This will allow you to become debt free within a reasonable time. CAP will contact your creditors and agree how much you will pay them to clear your debts. You will pay CAP s monthly amount into your CAP Plan. CAP will then pay your creditors. The Ipswich Debt Centre serves all Ipswich plus the postcode areas IP6 and IP8.
The Church is in every community across this country. It will outlast government schemes and is committed to people's wellbeing – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Kintsugi Hope Groups work in communities through the local church with an attitude of humility – not to judge, fix or rescue, but to come alongside and love one another. We are all broken in some ways and we can all learn from each other. Kintsugi Hope is not just a charity. We have a vision of starting a movement of Kintsugi Hope Wellbeing Groups where people can experience: Safety and support where there is no shame and embarrassment in struggling
An increase in self-worth, confidence and wellbeing
A deeper understanding of the reality of God's love for them
Clear pathways to receive additional support if needed.
Route 2 Freedom is a recently established project to help those suffering from addictions, homelessness and other challenges find freedom from the past and an opportunity to be the people they were always meant to be. A number of churches in the Ipswich area are working together to develop the "Route 2 Freedom" project which aims to outreach to people, (often on the street), to introduce them to Church and to support them to access whatever specialised support they may need. There is a small team working to make connections with people in need and a number of them have very powerful testimonies of what God has done in their own lives. Everyone involved has a passion to see people finding freedom and having their lives transformed through coming to Christ and getting involved in the family of God in a local church. Funding is needed to support the outreach team and the supporting churches are seeking those who may be willing to give a small amount regularly to support the work of Route 2 Freedom If you are interested in outreach to some of those in our town in the greatest need, please consider giving to Route 2 Freedom and how you may be able to help. Please also let others know about this important project.
