MENTAL HEALTH
BEAM is a peer to peer support group for birth mothers apart from their children (eg adoption, foster care, SGO). We have face to face meetings for mothers in the Ipswich area and online wellbeing groups for those in other parts of the country.
In person Monday 10:30am - 12pm. Online midweek 8pm-9pm
Football based group for young men aged 18-30. Come along to this friendly growing group of young men to build relationships with like minded people. Suitable for a wide range of abilities with the opportunity to get involved with competitions. Cost are £3 per week (discounts available). Meet weekly at Portman Road Community Pitch.

Money impacts all areas of our lives: what we can or can’t afford, our relationships, what we eat, our health and wellbeing and much more. Your local CAP Life Skills is a friendly group where you’ll gain practical skills and discover new ways to live for a brighter future.
There is one course each school term.
A safe, warm and friendly cafe space - food and drink on a suggested donation basis, community building and a listening ear available.

Hope Church Community Lounge offers a cooked meal a warm welcome to everyone who attends. There are activities for those interested and our team are available to help people link to other services, including our advice, should that be helpful. Our meals are great value and can be provided at a discount if necessary.

School Chaplains work in schools and local communities to provide spiritual and pastoral support to the young people and members of staff that they meet. We also offer activities and residential trips for children and young people at our activity centre, just outside of Ipswich. Activities include, archery, kayaking, raft-building, laser tag and zip wire to name a few! Groups can come for day trips or book residential stays. Get in touch for more details.

Every Wednesday from 10am-12.30pm, our Lantern Room becomes a community space for a variety of hobbies and activities. Anyone is welcome to share a hobby or skill and anyone is welcome to join a workshop or activity. They are all free. Or you can come to relax and chat, or to enjoy the peace in our quiet area and prayer space.

Wellsprings Monday Meals is for adults and includes a free two course meal from about 6pm. Afterwards there is an opportunity to stay on for an optional time of reflection.

We believe in a world where every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Youth Connect is a new project based in east Ipswich that provides skill-based sessions, mental health support groups and mentoring for young people aged 14-25. The aim of Youth Connect is to help young people see potential in themselves by supporting them through 1:1 intervention and by giving them the opportunity to try new things.
Skills based sessions are Wednesdays 4-5pm
Free Service. A social media peer support community for adults in the UK with mental health difficulties, offering confidential support offering a number of online events and moderated support.
Active Moderation every day from 9:00 am to 10:30 pm, but the platform is open 24 hours.
This is a charge for this service. Music therapy is about using the creativity of music to help people who may be struggling with physical, cognitive or mental health issues. We provide specialist support for children and adults with ASD, anxiety, PTSD and other conditions. Music therapy is like a form of counselling without using words.
